Donations – How You Can Help!
Camping is a high-return activity, one that often has a profound impact on the life of a child, especially a child who has few other opportunities for getting out of the city. Youth who attend a 1-2 week residential summer camp enter a setting that includes opportunity, new experiences and independence.
Camps for Kidsprovides scholarships for first-time campers who would not otherwise be able to attend. Even better, the camps continue supporting these first-time campers so they can return and grow and enjoy many summer adventures.
Your contribution can give the gift of summer. You will ensure that Milwaukee children from families with limited resources will experience the benefits and joys of summer camp. Two different funds are available at the Greater Milwaukee Foundation. The Camps for Kids Forever Fund will provide scholarships for many, many camping seasons in the future. The Camps for Kids Annual Fund will sponsor a camper for a summer.
All donations are tax deductible.
